Moog has launched the Model 112 and Model 210, two all-purpose amplifiers for electronic instruments such as synths, keyboards, drum machines, electric guitars and modelling processors. Both are full-range, flat-response amplifiers with integrated four-channel mixing.
The Model 112 is the more compact and portable format: it includes a 12-inch woofer, a 1-inch compression driver, 40Hz-20kHz frequency response and 440W RMS of bi-amplified power. The listed price is $799.
The Model 210 offers 550W RMS, dual 10-inch woofers and a 1-inch compression driver, with a 2.5-way design and response down to 35Hz. The listed price is $999.
Both models include connectivity options, Bluetooth streaming, headphone monitoring and Stereo Link for two-amplifier stereo setups. Moog Music President Joe Richardson said the models are designed to preserve the sonic identity of the instrument.
