IKLECTIK to close at Peckham Levels after business rates relief denial

IKLECTIK, an experimental music venue in South London, has announced the closure of its current home at Peckham Levels.

The team cited Southwark Council’s denial of the business rates relief it sought as a cultural non-profit. According to the statement, the appeals process had support from cultural organisations, local councillors and Music Venue Trust.

The space, which reopened last October after two years, will stop operating at Peckham Levels on October 25. Final programming will be announced soon.
