New features include Preset Generator, which turns an audio reference into a playable and editable patch, stem separation, Mutator, Randomiser, Morpher and Animator. The plug-in keeps a semi-modular architecture with open routing.

Massive XL adds more than 100 new wavetables, material from the original Massive and PPG content, plus over 100 new noise tables. It also includes integrated effects such as Raum, Replika, Shimmer and Tape Wobble, and polyphonic aftertouch support on compatible hardware.

The introductory price is €149, $149 or £129 until 31 December 2026. Massive X users can upgrade for €49, $49 or £44, while original Massive users can crossgrade for €99, $99 or £89.
