Live Nation has told a federal court that President Donald Trump was briefly present at the meeting where the terms of its antitrust settlement with the US Department of Justice were finalized.

The disclosure appears in an amended filing submitted by Live Nation and Ticketmaster to New York federal court on October 21. According to the filing, Trump did not participate in any substantive settlement discussions.

The meeting took place on March 5 and, according to the filing, was attended by representatives of Live Nation, Ticketmaster, the DOJ's Antitrust Division, DOJ senior leadership offices and the Office of the White House Counsel.

The settlement, announced in March during the antitrust trial, would allow Live Nation to keep ownership of Ticketmaster, but it still requires approval from Judge Arun Subramanian under the Tunney Act.
